Australian University Games 2010 (Nando’s Chicken is awesome!)

Unigames 2010 saw 5000 university athletes from around Australia descend on the unsuspecting West Australian Capital of Perth. Adelaide University sent a team of 120, 14 of which were Basketballers. Those 14 however made a lasting impact on Adelaide Uni Sport, Perth and Unigames Basketball!

2009 saw a new era of Unigames begin for Adelaide Uni Basketball. 2 teams of Unigames ‘virgins’ represented Adelaide University. Despite the inexperience Griffins AUG Basketball took to the courts and to the streets of the Gold Coast in true Unigames spirit.

It was a cold wintery night at the Adelaide Uni, Thebarton Basketball training facility when an unsuspecting basketballer, looking for a ball pump, was attacked from above by a stray trophy… it was this trophy that rekindled the memories of past interfaculty tournaments!
