Barossa Valley Carnival
When: June long weekend
Where: Tanunda
Carnival involving both district and country teams in multiple divisions. This is always an excellent trip, with Adelaide University entering around five or six teams. It’s situated close enough to Adelaide for day trips to and from the action, or the club provides tented accommodation at the event.
Australian University Games
When: Annually in September/October
Where: The 2011 UniGames will be held at the Gold Coast
The UniGames are a special highlight in the AUBC calendar, perhaps the greatest sports (or other) trip you’ll ever go on. A team of the best players from Adelaide University takes on the best from other universities. Either as a player or spectator, this is a must-attend event sometime in your student life. Only current students are eligible, and you don’t need to be a member of the club to participate.
